working out the kinks

by lunch time today i was tired of walking around like an old man after yesterday's 50K run, so i pulled on my biking gear and took cato out for a spin. my original plan was to take it easy, but my legs felt great so i put a little boom to it! i pedaled hard into 10-15mph northeast wind on the way out, smiling the whole time. i stood often to stretch out my quads. i danced up nearly every incline.

my return trip was much the same. i hammered it down the hill to the creek crossing and back up into town. when i turned south on pine, i was flying with the wind at my back.

i feel great now! energized and ready for the afternoon. bring it on world!
