we all got home from our various activites and my wife wanted to run outside since it was relatively warm. there's something wrong when 42 is warm. be that as it may be, that was the reasoning behind going out for a run together.
we walked up the street to get away from the slush and then started running. there were a few spots where snow and ice still remained on allen, but they weren't too bad. main street, which we ran south on, was as clear as anything. it was awesome running on a dry surface.
we ran to the city limits and then started back. somewhere before the railroad tracks, we stopped to walk. my wife hadn't been outside for a run in awhile and she hasn't been running without walking for any great distances since she's re-doing the couch to 5K program, so she slowed down to get her breathing under control.
we ran again and then walked once more before making it back to our starting point. we walked back home, dodging the slush. i hope it all melts tomorrow so i can actually ride my road bike on monday. please, mr. sun, do your stuff!
