i went to work a little early this morning, so i'd be able to take a slightly longer lunch break. i was planning to ride, but decided to run instead. my aim was to run slowly and build speed each mile. i did okay, i guess. my first mile was 8:32. the second was 8:12. number 3 came in at 8:10. mile 4 was a bummer at 8:19. still not bad for my first attempt at this tempo thing. had a blast running on the dirt roads, so i'm good.
