i didn't have any real aim today other than to run 15-20 minutes at recovery pace, so when i'd run a block north, i decided i'd had enough of my regular routes. i turned west and never planned another part of this run more than two blocks ahead. i wandered this way and that, aimlessly taking in sections of town i seldom run. i never would have done this before i got my garmin. i couldn't have remembered all the turns. since "someone" else was tracking the turns, i just meandered. it was great! i didn't feel super good the whole time, but good enough to merit dailymile's "alright" icon.
after i'd shaved and showered and eaten breakfast, i went to the chiropractor. he adjusted my back and then told me he thought i was good to go. there's still a small amount of pain now and then if i don't support myself properly, but it's nice to be free to do what i want. i may go for a bike ride at noon.
