after finishing up a fairly hard two-miler with jon, i decided to put in three more on my own. i took it a bit easier and threw in a little bit of speed work, sprinting all the northbound and southbound blocks. southbound i flew, hitting 6:09 pace at one point. northbound, i gutted it out into the nasty wind. the only good thing about sprinting north was spending a little less time doing it.
i did the same loop that jon and i had done earlier, adding in a northbound sprint in the middle of the last loop so i could end my run with a southbound sprint. my mama didn't raise no dummy! once i hit stop, i walked a bit to cool down and then came inside to warm up. doesn't make much sense, does it?
